Ms. Kitumba is an experienced operations management and food safety professional with more than 15 years of expertise in quality control, operational supervision and food safety compliance. She has extensive experience in managing operational processes, maintaining quality standards and supporting organizational efficiency within manufacturing and agribusiness sectors.
Ms. Kitumba has served as a Board Member of Tanzania Cashew Growers Plc since 2020, contributing to governance oversight, strategic planning and stakeholder engagement within the agricultural sector. In addition to her board responsibilities, she is actively involved in the cashew farming industry as a farmer and entrepreneur, bringing practical industry insight and operational expertise to board deliberations.
She has over 10 years of supervisory experience with Coca-Cola Beverages Tanzania, where she has played a key role in overseeing operations, monitoring performance standards and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality management requirements. Her expertise includes operations management, laboratory quality control, food safety systems and process improvement.
Ms. Kitumba holds a Diploma in Water Laboratory Technology from the Water Development and Management Institute in Tanzania. She has also completed professional training in technical, entrepreneurial, business management and marketing skills through the Artisan Development Agency of Tanzania (ADAT).
Her combined experience in operations management, agribusiness, quality assurance and corporate governance positions her to provide practical oversight and valuable strategic contribution as a Non-Executive Director.
