Wilson William Rutachunzibwa is an accomplished medical specialist, healthcare systems leader and board-level executive with over a decade of experience in healthcare leadership, institutional management, governance and strategic planning. He has extensive expertise in health service delivery, stakeholder engagement and organizational leadership across both healthcare and agribusiness sectors.
Dr. Rutachunzibwa has served as a Board Member of Tanzania Cashew Growers Plc for over five years and as a Board Member of the Taruchina Cashew Growers Association of Tanzania for more than six years. Through these leadership roles, he has contributed to governance oversight, farmer mobilization, value chain development and community empowerment initiatives within the cashew industry.
In addition to his governance experience, Dr. Rutachunzibwa has over 10 years of professional experience in healthcare leadership and medical practice. His expertise includes healthcare systems leadership, public health policy, food safety, nutrition, strategic planning and institutional management. He is also actively involved in the cashew farming industry as a farmer and entrepreneur, bringing practical agribusiness insight and stakeholder engagement experience to board deliberations.
Dr. Rutachunzibwa holds a Master’s Degree in Health from Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences and is licensed by the Medical Council of Tanganyika.
His combined expertise in healthcare leadership, governance, agribusiness development, food safety and institutional management enables him to provide valuable strategic oversight and independent guidance as a Non-Executive Director.
